The 2026 Old West Organ Society Summer Series continues with a performance by Dasha Ovchinnikova. This season, we are grateful to First Lutheran Church for hosting the series — featuring its splendid Richards, Fowkes & Co. instrument, Op. 10 — while Old West Church awaits necessary building repairs. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted in support of the Society.
Dasha Ovchinnikova
Dasha Ovchinnikova is an organist, composer, and music educator from St. Petersburg, Russia. A graduate of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Music College (music theory and composition), the St. Petersburg Conservatory (musicology), St. Petersburg State University (historical performance on keyboard instruments), and Longy School of Music (organ performance), she is the author of numerous musical works for children. Until 2024, she was the founder and director of the KukAREku Children's Musical Theatre, a laureate of international festivals. She is currently choir director and organist at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, Dover, MA.
