Summer Series: Mary Jodice

The Summer Series continues with Mary Jodice. As always, admission is free (donations accepted). 

Mary Jodice worked in the financial industry for 23 years. She was a Municipal bond trader and Financial consultant. She served as the treasurer of the Friends of the Beverly Farms library (a non profit concern) for eight years. Mary was on the the corporate fundraising committee that helped raised 2 million dollars for the renovation of the Beverly Farms Library.

Mary has done graduate work in finance, economics and business at Suffolk Uni- versity. She was a member of the Boston Municipal Bond club for 20 years.
At the present time she is a a candidate for a Masters in Music in Organ perfor- mance at Longy School of Music. Mary is Director of Music and organist at St An- drew’s Episcopal Church in Marblehead, where she directs an adult and children’s choir. She is also Assistant Director of the Cape Ann Choir School where she helps the Director Mark Nelson in his good works to the children of Gloucester.

Mary has played solo organ recitals at: Christ Church, Cambridge, King’s Chapel, Boston, Busch Hall at Harvard University and Nahant Music Festival.
She is part of a violin and organ duo that has played at King’s Chapel in Boston. Mary is the recipient of the E. Power Biggs Fellowship to the Organ Historical So- ciety convention in Philadelphia in June of 2016.

Her organ teachers are and have been: Dr. Douglas Major, Dr. Libor Dudas, Brink Bush, Diane Belcher, and Ronald Arnatt.
