LOIS REGESTEIN
Lois Regestein is a frequent recitalist for national conventions of the Organ Historical Society; she has also played for national and regional conventions of the American Guild of Organists. She has been heard over local radio staion WCRB and the nationally syndicated program, PipeDreams. She is a former Dean of the Boston chapter, AGO, and presently serves on the chapter’s Executive Committee. She is also a former Councillor for the Organ Historical Society. Currently, she serves the Old West Organ Society as Chairman of the Governing Board.
Lois holds degrees in Music from Oberlin College and the Yale School of Music. She has studied organ with Fenner Douglass, Finn Viderø and Reed Jerome, harpsichord with Louis Bagger and Helen Keaney, and piano with Helen Shafranek. Presently Music Director for St. Thomas Aquinas in Jamaica Plain, Lois has also served churches in Boston, Winchester, and Auburndale.
