Summer Series 2010 | OLD
WEST ORGAN SOCIETY The Old West Organ Society, founded in 1974, is an association of music lovers, performers, and scholars committed to the preservation, protection from harm or inappropriate alteration, and promotion by means of performance and pedagogy of the C. B. Fisk organ, Opus 55 (1971), located in the Old West Church, Boston. We believe this instrument to be one of the finest organs built in the United States in the Twentieth Century, a master work of its designer and builder, Charles Brenton Fisk (1925-1983). The Old West Organ Society is an independently incorporated, non-profit organization, and has no formal affiliation with the Old West Church, Boston.
