Harrison Kelton
R. Harrison Kelton is a musician and teacher. He has taught music history at Suffolk University in Boston for more than forty years. He was Director of Music at St. Andrew's in Wellesley for three decades, and has served as Organist at Catholic, Unitarian, Presbyterian, Christian Science (presently) churches, and a Jewish synagogue for twenty-three years. He education includes the BS in mathematics from the University of Nebraska, the MMus from the New England Conservatory of Music, and the PhD in musicology from Boston University. He has been a board member of the American Guild of Organists, Boston Chapter; the Anglican Association of Musicians, Boston Convention; the BU Organ Library, and the Old West Organ Society for the past fifteen years. He is married to Elizabeth, and the proud father of Piper (11) and Sebastian (5). In his spare time he enjoys bicycling, hiking, traveling, swimming, reading and concert attendance.
