Brian is well on his way to achieving his ultimate goal - to be “an accomplished musician." Brian hails from the heart of the Caribbean Antigua and Barbuda. His musical journey started back in his native land Antigua, at the tender age of 5 under the watchful eyes of Sereta Massiah and Samrah Samuel both of Antigua, Albert Lynch Jr. from the USVI and Sally Alexander from England.
He played the organ, piano, violin, and cello and clarinet. He has performed in major Caribbean islands and alongside in the USVI, BVI and USA as a guest organist. Brian has played for too many congregations but his love is performing for folks his age and less who are willing to learn something different about the organ.
In his relatively early journey, Brian has already chalked up note worthy achievements and awards. A music scholarship in 2004 from the NEW SCHOOL OF MUSIC in St. Thomas USVI. In 2005 he entered the Antigua and Barbuda Competitive Music Festival, he was the overall winner in two categories - Organ and Woodwind and Brass, taking home the gold awards. This wins also earns him the Walter Chambers Memorial Trophy (organ) and The Oscar Mason Memorial Trophy (woodwind and brass). He also became the 2005 Antigua and Barbuda Youth Symphony Orchestra's Student of the Year Award. Brian has completed his Associates Degree in Music at the Barbados Community College in Organ and he’s now present student at Longy School of Music of Bard College.
