annual appeal

To our generous Old West Organ Society patrons:

As we emerge from the pandemic and start to re-invent ourselves, the Old West Organ Society’s Board is pleased to resume programing. In August we hosted a limited summer series; in November we host our annual Yuko Hayashi Memorial benefit. In March of 2022, we will host our annual Bach Birthday Celebration. In July and August of 2022, our annual Summer Series will feature host a complete roster of artists.

We sent our last letter to you in November of 2019 and intentionally sent no annual letter during the pandemic. We share Opus 55 through educational programs and recitals, and we also maintain it. The costs for our programming and ongoing maintenance is nearing $10,000 annually. Our beloved instrument needs ongoing care and maintenance, especially as we celebrate its 50thanniversary!

To continue at a high artistic level, our exquisite instrument needs your financial support. Maintenance is hardly earth-shattering or even exciting, but it is essential as this instrument gracefully ages.

Your generous and loyal support makes the Old West Organ Society vibrant and healthy; indeed, our vitality depends on your generosity. Please consider renewing your annual membership with a generous gift. Please purchase benefit concert tickets.

Your OWOS membership dues and any additional contributions can be sent to:

Heartfelt thanks for your support of the Old West Organ Society. We look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Annual Yuko Hayashi Memorial Benefit Concert given by Christa Rakich November 12 at 7:30 pm in Old West Church!

With great appreciation,

The Old West Organ Society Board
